A wonderful sympathetic renovation to a 1920’s era weatherboard home on Cashmere Hill. The design transformed a dark kitchen into a spacious new family living space with access to a new outdoor deck area and garden beyond. The existing dining room was enlarged and a new galley kitchen strategically placed between living and dining areas, creating an open and defined sequence of spaces. A discreet walk-in pantry with sink provides ample room for storage and food preparation. Built-in joinery items, traditional detailing and carefully considered lighting complement the character of the existing home.
